An interactive installation of 24 paintings on canvas, La Chora is composed of 24 variations on the Byzantine church of the Chora in Istanbul. The interactions between byzantine mosaics and the pixel as the elemental unit constituting digital images, together with theoretical texts of Kasimir Malevitch build up the principal axis of the work as a statement on abstraction.
