Conceived as an evolving installation, the sculpture series Capsules consists of monumental amphorae inspired by ancient forms, designed as time vessels. The inner cavities of the amphorae are colored, echoing cave paintings as sensitive traces of time, while through their human scale, they evoke bodies awaiting a gesture, a breath, a memory destined for the future. By intertwining ancient gesture with speculative vision, Papadimouli offers a meditation on the finite nature of human life and the role of art as a witness, imprint, and vector of transmission through time.
